Sustainable fishing

Sustainable fishing means leaving enough fish in the oceans, protecting their habitats and securing the future of the people who depend on fishing for their livelihood.

Traceability

The following information must accompany all lots covered by the traceability requirements:
* Party identification number
* District designation and name of the fishing vessel or name of the aquaculture facility
* Fish species
* Catch date / production date
* The amount of each art expressed in kilograms net weight and, where applicable (mainly wild-caught salmon) by individuals
* Product form and dosage form
* Name and address of the supplier (seller)In addition, the following consumer information must accompany the party at all levels:
* The species' scientific name and trade name
* Production method, for example captured or cultivated
* The area for capture or cultivation
* Fishing gear
* Information on whether the product has previously been frozen
* Date of minimum durability
